Hotel Review: Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa

Drive an hour north of Cairns International Airport and you find the Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa. It is located beachside at the southern end of 4 Mile Beach and is surrounded by world-famous attractions like the Great Barrier Reef, the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.

With the beach just steps away and surrounding lush vegetation, you truly are in a tropical paradise. Soak up the sunshine and ambience of life in the tropics, without compromising on those little creature comforts you left behind at home.

With a shuttle taxi service that will take you into downtown Port Douglas and trips into the Daintree and Cape Tribulation doable in a day, this resort is the perfect base for exploring the region.

THE HOTEL

Typical with the Pullman brand, the Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa oozes sophisticated luxury. The first thing you will notice is the open airy design, something that is most welcomed in the hot tropics. After the days exploring the surrounding Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation and town of Port Douglas, this resort is the perfect place to come back to and relax and unwind.

Walking into the property you are met by the large, open foyer. This then leads out to the central lagoon pool, where the rooms surround with some ground level rooms even leading directly out to the pool. There is dining on site or you can order a bite to eat or drink around the pool or to your room.

If the tropical vibe is still not enough to relax you, escape to Vie Spa and leave feeling restored, revived and inspired. Treatments will have you taken away to a tranquil place, a place where your wellness is nurtured to harmonise with your inner self, a place where care is personalised, and life is celebrated.
