Located in the heart of Pererenan, just minutes from the beach, Neon Rose offers four design-forward suites that blend comfort, character, and creativity. With no front desk and a self-check-in experience, it’s ideal for independent travellers wanting to plug into the local rhythm.
Turning your Bali stay into cool
Founded by Malaysian-born Australian entrepreneur Min Siah—best known for her cult-favourite Starter Lab and Wheatfields Bakery brands—Neon Rose breaks away from traditional villas and resorts, offering an intimate, self-contained experience with a rebellious edge.
Once a bread factory, the motel has been reimagined with bold curves, ochre-toned walls, and thoughtful details like blackout curtains, fast Wi-Fi, and custom bath products. Designed in collaboration with Singapore’s A Good Lab, the rooms range from Work Suites for digital nomads to Bath Suites with oversized tubs and slow-stay vibes.
Sustainability is central to the concept, with interiors finished in blush-toned plaster made from recycled glass, sugarcane fibre and sawdust. Each suite includes a refillable Balian water dispenser and one per cent of all bookings goes to Sungai Watch, a local initiative working to protect Bali’s waterways.
Connecting guests to the local creative scene
Guests also receive a Local Legends card, curated by Siah, which unlocks perks at neighbourhood favourites including top restaurants, yoga studios, and artisan shops. The goal? To support the tight-knit creative community of Pererenan, named one of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods by Time Out.
“There’s so much creative energy packed into this small community,” said Siah. “We want our guests to feel part of it—not just pass through.”
